 World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler.                                                       I  watched the drama that played out between the Inspector General of Police Suleiman Abba and the committee that was questioning him yesterday,and how they reacted when he refused to recognize Hon Aminu Tambuwal,as Speaker of the  House of Representative.From what i could gather while watching,he said he refused to recognize the Speaker because his matter is still in court and today,a lot of lawyers and political parties were just condemning his attitude,towards the matter.If you ask me oh,some times people condemn blindly.Before they condemn the IGP,i condemn the fact that when i saw the House of Representative members flying the fence,i was so ashamed and i begin to wonder the type of leaders that we have voted in.Let me ask,youths in Nigeria,between the age of 25-40,are you in the House of Representative?,because the people flying that fence look like they are all above 50. With patience,that gate would have been opened for them.As for the teargas,it was a little childish to throw teargas within the House,so i condemn it.One more photo below.
