 ‘I’ll turn off the mic’ — Remi Tinubu reins in Adeleke’s singing at Ooni’s anniversary First Lady Oluremi Tinubu cautioned Ademola Adeleke, the Osun state governor, for prolonged singing during his remarks at the 10th coronation anniversary celebration of Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife. The moment, captured in a now-viral video, occurred as the governor mounted the podium on Sunday to pay tribute to the monarch and to congratulate the Remi on her newly bestowed chieftaincy title, Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua. Rather than proceed immediately with his formal message, Adeleke, popularly known as the “Dancing Governor” for his spirited public appearances, burst into a short musical chant, drawing laughter from parts of the audience. UPDATES FROM GOODLUCK'S DECLARATION TODAY AT EAGLES SQUARE,ABUJA.

                   Congratulation to Goodluck Jonathan,who after so much pressure from the oppositions and Islamic militant group Boko Haram,declared his intentions to re-run for another term in office as the President of Nigeria.Chieftains of People Democratic Party PDP,and several other groups today tuesday gathered at the Eagle's Square,Abuja to endorse President Goodluck Jonathan for a second term of office in 2015 general elections.Ministers,Senators and members of the House of Representatives and top PDP members were among the huge crowd who had arrived the venue of the declaration to await the arrival of the president.The declaration was anchored by a 37 man presidential declaration committee headed by former minister of Defence,Bello Haliru which was set up for the purpose by President Goodluck Jonathan on October 23 after a meeting with PDP leaders at the presidential villa.Professor Haliru said the president is being asked to run for a second term by Nigerians,not just because they love him,but because of their love for development as being carried out by the Jonathan administration.He therefore asked the President to accede to the demands that he should run for another term of office.One more picture below.
