 RE: MISLEADING CLAIMS REGARDING EXTORTION OF MOTORISTS BY LAGOS STATE TASKFORCE – YET-TO-BE-IDENTIFIED SECURITY OPERATIVES: ANOTHER CASE OF MISTAKEN IDENTITY The Lagos State Taskforce wishes to address a misleading narrative circulating on social media, particularly in a viral video shared by protesters and concerned groups who recently demonstrated at the Lagos State House of Assembly. The protest was in response to the alleged extortion of motorists by security operatives, yet to be identified, who are not officials of the Lagos State Environmental and Special Offences Unit. We categorically state that the Lagos State Taskforce had no involvement in the said incident. Our enforcement teams are led by seasoned, well-trained, and highly disciplined senior officers who are far too professional and educated to jeopardise their ranks, integrity, and years of service for personal gain.                 Nollywood/Yoruba actress Bukky Wright posted on her facebook her campaign poster,and from the date,she posted these information since last week friday {3 days ago}.She made her intentions clear that she is contesting for a sit in the House of Representative in Abeokuta,under the Social Democratic Party {SDP.Bukky Wright said ''We are coming out on top.Following the basic norms have taken us nowhere''.Though alot of people were shocked that she is contesting under the SDP,but if she wins the SDP ticket,she will be contesting against Segun Williams,one of the two House of Reps members,who refused to decamp from APC.I understand why Bukky Wright prefers to come out through SDP,there is these popularly saying that says ''Is better to be a king in the bush,than a slave/poor man in the city''.One more photo below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
