In a blog post that has now been published by many international media organisations, in an apparent well-coordinated public relations effort, Binance Chief Executive Officer Richard Teng made false allegations of bribery against unidentified Nigerian government officials who he claimed demanded $150m in cryptocurrency payments to resolve the ongoing criminal investigation against the company.  This claim by Binance CEO lacks any iota of substance. It is nothing but a diversionary tactic and an attempted act of blackmail by a company desperate to obfuscate the grievous criminal charges it is facing in Nigeria. 4 MEN JAILED TODAY FOR KILLING A SCOTTISH GEOLOGIST.

                    A Scottish Geologist,who was murdered in August 2009,received justice for his death today after four men armed with clubs,spears,bows and arrows attacked and killed the geologist,Campbell Bridges,were sentenced today thursday by a Kenyan court.The court sentenced the four men to 40 years imprisonment each after finding them guilty of killing the 71 year old germstone expert,who hadsettled in Kenya in 1975,owned several germstone mones in Voi area.He was attacked as he drove his pick up truck with his son and four other Kenyans.The accused were identified as 42 year old Mohamed Dadu Kokone,58 year old Alfred Makoko Njuruka,49 year old Samwel Machala and 56 year old Jame Chacha,had all denied the changes in 2009 and were all out on bail except Kokone who failed to raise the cash bond.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
