 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. A GAY-MAN MOHAMMED UMAR STABS HIS GAY PARTNER TO DEATH IN ABUJA.

               According to my correspondent in Abuja,Mohammed Snu was reportedly murdered by his partner,Mohammed Umar,inside a room in an hotel in Garki Abuja  for refusing to pay him for sex.Snu was a regular in the hotel after he and Umar had sex twice {Tufiakwa},Snu allegedly refused to pay for the second round,which led to a fight.Eyewitnesses claim that they had a loud noise from his room and a voice saying ''ya kuri'' meaning please,don't be angry.By the time eyewitnesses forced down the door open,they saw Umar standing naked and Snu lying dead on the bed with stabbed injuries on his body.They immediately called the police and Umar was arrested.The hotel manager was later arrested by the Nigerian police force for interrogation after removing the corpse from the hotel.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
