 NDLEA dismantles Abuja drug bunks, arrests 132, recovers 220kg illicit substances  -Marwa hails operation, vows to sustain crackdown in FCT, other states  In a non-stop two-week offensive action against traffickers and dealers, operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have successfully dismantled several drug joints and bunks within and around the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Abuja where a total of 132 suspects were arrested and 220 kilograms of assorted illicit substances recovered. The wel-coordinated raids jointly conducted by the Agency's Directorate of Operations and General Investigation (DOGI) and the FCT Strategic Command from llth to 25th April 2026 were launched to dismantle illicit drug hubs contributing to substance abuse, trafficking, and associated criminal activities in the capital city after weeks of intelligence and surveillance across all identified hotspots. A GAY-MAN MOHAMMED UMAR STABS HIS GAY PARTNER TO DEATH IN ABUJA.

               According to my correspondent in Abuja,Mohammed Snu was reportedly murdered by his partner,Mohammed Umar,inside a room in an hotel in Garki Abuja  for refusing to pay him for sex.Snu was a regular in the hotel after he and Umar had sex twice {Tufiakwa},Snu allegedly refused to pay for the second round,which led to a fight.Eyewitnesses claim that they had a loud noise from his room and a voice saying ''ya kuri'' meaning please,don't be angry.By the time eyewitnesses forced down the door open,they saw Umar standing naked and Snu lying dead on the bed with stabbed injuries on his body.They immediately called the police and Umar was arrested.The hotel manager was later arrested by the Nigerian police force for interrogation after removing the corpse from the hotel.
