 EFCC Arrests Eight Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Uyo Operatives of the Uyo Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Thursday May 2, 2024 arrested eight suspected  internet fraudsters in an early morning sting operation at Osong Ama Extension in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. They were arrested following credible intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet fraud.   Items recovered from them include, seven laptops; 13 smart phones; two wrist watches and one router.   The suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.  

A WOMAN WAS CRUSHED TO DEATH IN A TRICYCLE {KEKE} IN AKOWONJO LAGOS,BY A CAR.

PHOTOS: UMOH-OBONG KINGSLEY                       The woman crushed to death was identified as Mrs Abigail,who was one of the passengers of a tricycle {keke}.The incident happened around 5am on saturday around Shasha area,Abati bustop of Akowonjo in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos state,when a private vehicle crushed the tricycle the woman was in.She died on the spot while other passengers,sustained injuries and were rushed to a nearby hospital.One of those injured was an old woman,who was said was returning from night vigil.What really happened was that a Toyota Camty,was said to have rammed into the tricycle {keke},while trying to overtake another vehicle.The driver of the vehicle was taken to the police station,immediately after the accident.One more photo below.                                                                                                                      â€¢The corpse at the scene of the accident
