PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday. A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria. Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. He later served as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and International Relations before he was appointed Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. According to eyewitnesses,today wednesday,there was an explosion in Kantin Kwari textile market in Kano and 15 dead bodies have been counted so far.Kano Police Commissioner,Aderele Shinaba said ''Two female suicide bombers arrived at the market pretending to be buyers of textile materials.As they entered the market,they went behind Access Banl and requested water they could use to ease themselves with in one of the market latrines.When they were denied water,the women engaged the sellers in an argument,drawing a crowed before the two bombers detonated their explosives.The blast occured at a place known as Filling paring along Ibrahim Taiwo way,a major intersection leading to popular Kano Kantin Kwari market''.
