Chawai Community Appeals To Gov. Uba Sani For Relief, Medical Support After Deadly Kauru Attack The people of Chawai Chiefdom in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State have appealed to Governor Uba Sani to provide urgent relief and medical assistance to victims of the deadly attack on Naridon village in Kamaru Ward. In an open letter addressed to the governor, the community commended his leadership, describing his administration as inclusive and fair. They said this had given residents confidence that every community in the state is valued. The community, however, expressed concern over what it described as the lack of government intervention following the attack on Naridon village, in which it said 30 people were killed. According to the letter, many survivors and families of the victims are still struggling with grief, trauma, displacement, and the challenges of caring for those injured in the attack. According to eyewitnesses,today wednesday,there was an explosion in Kantin Kwari textile market in Kano and 15 dead bodies have been counted so far.Kano Police Commissioner,Aderele Shinaba said ''Two female suicide bombers arrived at the market pretending to be buyers of textile materials.As they entered the market,they went behind Access Banl and requested water they could use to ease themselves with in one of the market latrines.When they were denied water,the women engaged the sellers in an argument,drawing a crowed before the two bombers detonated their explosives.The blast occured at a place known as Filling paring along Ibrahim Taiwo way,a major intersection leading to popular Kano Kantin Kwari market''.
