 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. FRENCH TROOPS,KILLED A WANTED ISLAMIST TERRORIST TODAY IN MALI.

                     The United States has offered a $5million reward for information leading to the arrest of Ahmed al-Telemsi,who took part in the 2011 kidnapping of two French nationals in Niger and of three aid workers in Algeria later that year.Now it was announced by Mali defense ministry spokesman said today that French forces in Northern Mali have killed a senior commander of the al-Mourabitoun Islamist group who was wanted by the United State.Al-Tilemsi was a founding member of the movement for Unity and Jihad in West Africa {MUJWA},which merged with fighters loyal to veteran Islamist leader Mokhtar Belmokhtar to form al-Mourabitoun last year.One more photo below.
