 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. FRENCH TROOPS,KILLED A WANTED ISLAMIST TERRORIST TODAY IN MALI.

                     The United States has offered a $5million reward for information leading to the arrest of Ahmed al-Telemsi,who took part in the 2011 kidnapping of two French nationals in Niger and of three aid workers in Algeria later that year.Now it was announced by Mali defense ministry spokesman said today that French forces in Northern Mali have killed a senior commander of the al-Mourabitoun Islamist group who was wanted by the United State.Al-Tilemsi was a founding member of the movement for Unity and Jihad in West Africa {MUJWA},which merged with fighters loyal to veteran Islamist leader Mokhtar Belmokhtar to form al-Mourabitoun last year.One more photo below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
