Yemen fighting pushes nearly 3,000 to Djibouti in less than a week: UN Nearly 3,000 people have fled Yemen for Djibouti in less than a week as escalating violence drives growing displacement within the country and across its borders, the UN refugee agency said Friday. “Refugees continue to arrive by boat through Obock, Khor Angar, Moulhoule and Godoria after difficult journeys in small vessels,” UNHCR representative in Djibouti Sandrine Desamours told reporters in Geneva, Anadolu Agency reported. More than half of those crossing the Bab el-Mandeb Strait are women and children, while some families have been displaced for a second time after previously fleeing Yemen during the 2015 crisis and later returning. UNHCR is preparing for at least 10,000 new arrivals but warned that capacity is rapidly diminishing. According to the members of Deeper life church,who attended the retreat they held at the Deeper Life Conference Centre,DLCC at Ogun state {Lagos/Iadan expressway},said Pastor Kumuyi,who is the General overseer of their church,cured an Ebola patient from another country through a phone call.He said he prayed through the phone and the prayer was answered by God who healed the Ebola patient in another country.Though it was said the person infected is a woman and she has been isolated in a certain location in that country.When the woman called him on the phone,Kumuyi prayed a simple prayer of faith for her,and later the woman was cured of Ebola.Kumuyi told over a 100,000 Deeper Life members that,a test was conducted on the woman and it was discovered that she was no longer infected with Ebola.The woman was discharged from the quarantine centre.
