NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. According to the members of Deeper life church,who attended the retreat they held at the Deeper Life Conference Centre,DLCC at Ogun state {Lagos/Iadan expressway},said Pastor Kumuyi,who is the General overseer of their church,cured an Ebola patient from another country through a phone call.He said he prayed through the phone and the prayer was answered by God who healed the Ebola patient in another country.Though it was said the person infected is a woman and she has been isolated in a certain location in that country.When the woman called him on the phone,Kumuyi prayed a simple prayer of faith for her,and later the woman was cured of Ebola.Kumuyi told over a 100,000 Deeper Life members that,a test was conducted on the woman and it was discovered that she was no longer infected with Ebola.The woman was discharged from the quarantine centre.
