 Dolly Parton returns to public eye to celebrate opening day at Dollywood     Dolly Parton made her first public appearance in months to celebrate the opening day of Dollywood in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, on Friday. The country music icon reflected on the past year, a year after the death of her husband of nearly 60 years, Carl Dean, saying she is “doing good” and has been working to rebuild herself spiritually, emotionally, and physically after grieving and dealing with health issues that kept her from touring. Joined on stage by Dollywood president Eugene Naughton, Parton brought her trademark humor to the crowd, joking about rumors of a new husband while reaffirming her devotion to Dean. She also shared updates on her ongoing projects, including a new Broadway musical and her Dolly’s Life of Many Colors Museum in Nashville. PDP GOVERNORSHIP ASPIRANTS IN KWARA STATE,PLEDGED TO SUPPORT THE WINNER OF THE PRIMARY.

                                   According to my correspondent,on saturday,the PDP had their governorship primaries in Kwara state,and the thirteen governorship aspirants on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party {PDP} in Kwara said they had agreed to abide by the outcome of the saturday's governorship primary in the state.The aspirants who jointly signed an undertaking,promised to work for whoever emerged as the candidate for the success of the party at the poll.The publicity commitee Chairman of the PDP in the state,Chief Rex Olawoye who confirmed the meeting,said the 14th aspirant,Mr Dele Belgore,did not sign the undertaking because he was not at the meeting.One more photo below.
