 There was no evidence that he slept with the girl” – Yomi Fabiyi gives update on Baba Ijesha’s case Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has given an update on embattled Yoruba actor Baba Ijesha’s case. Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. STRANGE BUT TRUE ''STRANGE DEATH IN A PARTY IN IMO STATE''.

                 I was informed today by one of my neighbours at my residence in Lagos over the phone that a woman died yesterday in a public toilet in Imo state.My neighbours traveled to the village to celebrate christmas,and there was a party organized yesterday in a public place for everybody in their village.Now my neighbour said she wanted to make use of the public toilet,that is how one lady came from behind and said  ''Please i am so pressed and on my period,i can't hold it any longer''.So she told the lady to quickly enter,and be fast about it.So my neighbour waited for a while,she knocked but no response,so she made use of the bush.Later in the party,a man started saying his looking for his wife.So from the description she knew it was that lady that begged her to make use of the toilet.So she approached the man that she met the woman,and that she has been in that toilet for a while.So when they opened the toilet,they saw the woman,sitting on the toilet ''DEAD''.Only God knows what that woman ate,that made her die.May her soul rest in peace.Amen.The woman's corpse have now been moved to the mortuary.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
