 “SENATOR OLUREMI TINUBU PRIMARY HEALTH CENTRE REMAINS GOVERNMENT-FUNDED FACILITY” - LASG The Lagos State Government on Thursday reiterated that the recently reconstructed Senator Oluremi Tinubu (SOT) Primary Health Centre (PHC) remains a government-funded facility.  Speaking with the media after a monitoring tour of the facility situated at Dolphin Estate, Ikoyi, the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Health District III, Dr. Monsurat Adeleke, stated that the facility was renovated to ensure that world-class medical services are accessible to residents in the community.  "The facility is still funded by the Lagos State government and was renovated to improve access to high-quality healthcare service delivery in the community. 2 POLICEMEN KILLED YESTERDAY,AS THIEVES ATTACKED A POLICE STATION IN IKORODU.

               According to Kenneth Nwosu,the Lagos State Police Command Public Relation Officer,who confirmed the incident that took place yesterday/midnight monday at Owutu Police station Owutu Agric Ikorodu,Lagos,said ''Oil thieves engaged the policemen in a fierce battle in the midnight.The men were about 30,killed two of our officers.The oil thieves sustained various degrees of injuries during the duel and they escaped but our men are on their trail.Investigation is ongoing as we are looking at bringing them to justic because this is really unlawfl''.Other sources said that the thieves who were from Ijaw,had been arrested and detained by the police at the station yesterday monday,but the thieves regrouped and attacked the police station,killing two police corporals in the process.
