PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday. A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria. Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. He later served as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and International Relations before he was appointed Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. According to sources,members of wo rival cult groups Eiye {Bird} and Aiye {Black Axe} confraternity,have been at war for several weeks in the in Benin city,resulting in the death of many them.The mortuary department of the Benin city specialist hospital,confirmed that 36 bodies were deposited there between 1st to 30th December 2014 following the clashes.The lingering cult clashes had worsened to the extent that four more people were killed at different locations in Benin city.A mortuary attendant who who spoke behind cameras to reporters said ''I am surprised that the police are saying only six deaths have been recorded.We are tired because as at the last count,it was 36.The last one that was brought to this morgue was so bad that his skull was opened into two parts.I could not eat when i got home''.
