 President Trump awarded inaugural FIFA Peace Prize at World Cup draw in Washington  Gianni Infantino, the FIFA President presented the honour onstage at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, saying Trump had been selected “in recognition of his exceptional and extraordinary actions to promote peace and unity around the world”. “This is your prize, this is your peace prize,” Infantino said, after Trump took the stage to accept the trophy, a medal and certificate. “There is also a beautiful medal for you that you can wear everywhere you want to go.”   FIFA says the prize is for “individuals who help unite people in peace through unwavering commitment and special actions”.  Accepting the award, Trump called it “one of the great honours of my life”, before claiming to have “saved millions and millions of lives – the Congo is an example, over 10 million people killed and it was heading for another 10 million very quickly. 6 BULGARIANS,DETAINED BY THE SUDAN REBELS TODAY.

                               According to a spokeperson Mubarak for the Bulgarian foreign ministry said today wednesday that ''Six Bulgarians working with the UN's World Food Programme {WFP} were detained by Sudanese rebels after their helicopter made an emergency landing in Sudan's war-torn South Kordofan province.The three member crew of the helicopter and three officers of Sofia based Heli Air,the carrier that operated it,were being detained.The flight which was scheduled from South Sudan to Khartoun,flew into an active combat zone in South Kordofan that has been subject to bombings by the government''According to the rebels spokesperson  Mubarak Ardol said ''We just wanted to confirm they were not linked to the Khartoun regime.We are currently in contact with the UN and the WFP to organise their release.Once we confirm that they are fact working with the UN's WFP and not for the benefit of the Sudanese government,we are fully prepared to release them immediately''.
