 New UK Prime Minister not the leader Britain needs — Kemi Badenoch UK Conservative Party leader, Kemi Badenoch, has congratulated Andy Burnham on becoming Britain’s new prime minister but said while he is “a nice man,” the country needs a leader capable of making difficult decisions rather than “a people pleaser.” In a statement released on Monday on X following Burnham’s assumption of office, Badenoch wished the new prime minister success but vowed to hold his government accountable as Leader of the Opposition. “Today, Britain has a new Prime Minister. I wish Andy Burnham every success. Because we need a Prime Minister and a Government focused on fixing the public’s priorities,” she said. 69 PEOPLE DIED IN A FUNERAL AFTER DRINKING POISONED BEER IN MOZAMBIQUE.

                             The beer is made from corn,sorghum or other crops.The beer is commonly consumed in feasts especially funerals in Africa.The mass poisoning occurred when people attending a funeral fell ill on friday in the village of Chitima in central Mozambique,with seven fatalities initially confirmed on saturday morning.Paula Bernado,the District Director for Health,Women and Social Action,said ''As we prepared to determine the cause of death of people,we began to receive a lot of people with diarrhea and other muscle aches.After that,we began to receive dead bodies from several neighborhood.Atleast 169 remained in the hospital,while samples of the brew and suspicious objects found inside the drum have been sent to the National lanoratory in the capital Maputo for testing''.Their President Armando Guebuza,declared three days of national mourning.
