 Supreme court ruling path to Labour Party's peace and unity - Otti Abia State Governor Alex Otti has welcomed the Supreme Court's decision to remove Julius Abure as National Chairman of the Labour Party. According to Governor Otti, this ruling will usher in a new era of peace, unity, and order within the party. The Governor believes the Supreme Court's judgment vindicates the party's leadership, particularly since Abure's National Working Committee tenure had long expired. This led to the establishment of a National Caretaker Committee, headed by Esther Nenadi Usman and Darlington Nwokocha, with a vision to foster peace and unity while strengthening the party. The Supreme Court's decision is seen as a step towards restoring peace and unity within the Labour Party, validating the party's leadership and the decision to set up a caretaker committee. UPDATE ON GENERAL BUHARI'S CERTIFICATE WITH THE ARMY.

          Today Tuesday,the Nigerian army said in a press conference in Abuja that they are not in possession of the originals or photocopies of the credentials of the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress,General Muhammadu Buhari.The Army said that they only have a letter from the principal of Buhari's secondary school dated 1961,recommending him for enlistment into the military school.I am as confused as ever,Dear readers,what do you think?.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
