World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler. The rider of the bike was identified as Yakubu Samuel,who was also a leader of a security outfit attached to CLAM church near Omole phase one Ikeja Lagos.According eye witnesses,they said Samuel was riding a power bike,coming from Abule Egba,and Samuel ignored the Nigerian Railway Cooporation Traffic Control Officer who stopped all vehicles to pave way for a train to pass.He ran into the train and was crushed to death on the spot.Sympathizers at the scene used his mobile phone to call one of his brothers who said he was working at Apapa and he was told that his brother had an accident and needed urgent assistance.The accident happened today thursday morning at Fagba Level crossing in Iju Ishaga,Lagos.May his soul rest in peace Amen.One more picture below.
