  A manhunt is underway for man who shot a Granite City Police Officer multiple times. Officers in Granite City, Illinois, responded to a call regarding a unwanted subject near the 2000 block of Johnson Road at 2:20 p.m. on Friday, December 5th. Upon arrival, officers attempted to make contact with the suspect. The suspect opened fire on officers before fleeing the scene.  Unfortunately, one officer was struck multiple times. The officer was rushed to a St. Louis University Hospital. He is expected to make a full recovery.  A massive manhunt is now underway to locate the suspect. Authorities warn the public that the man is considered armed and dangerous. A TRAIN,CRUSHED A BIKE MAN TODAY AT IJU ISHAGA LAGOS.

                The rider of the bike was identified as Yakubu Samuel,who was also a leader of a security outfit attached to CLAM church near Omole phase one Ikeja Lagos.According  eye witnesses,they said Samuel was riding a power bike,coming from Abule Egba,and Samuel ignored the Nigerian Railway Cooporation Traffic Control Officer who stopped all vehicles to pave way for a train to pass.He ran into the train and was crushed to death on the spot.Sympathizers at the scene used his mobile phone to call one of his brothers who said he was working at Apapa and he was told that his brother had an accident and needed urgent assistance.The accident happened today thursday morning at Fagba Level crossing in Iju Ishaga,Lagos.May his soul rest in peace Amen.One more picture below.                                                                  â€¢The crushed motorcycle at the scene this morning
