 Otti Slams Julius Abure Over Continued Sale of Labour Party Nomination Forms Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, has strongly criticised the former National Chairman of the Labour Party (LP), Julius Abure, for proceeding with the sale of governorship nomination forms despite opposition from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and subsisting court rulings. The criticism follows a viral photograph showing Abure presenting a Labour Party nomination form to a former National Vice Chairman of the party, Ceekay Igara, in the company of other party members.                 Benin Electricity Distribution Company {BEDC} identified Bright Ekene Abunwaeze,as their staff who was electrocuted yesterday wednesday night in Asaba when he was attempting to fix an apparently faulty 450 KVA high tension wire on Nnebisi road service unit,Asaba.Eye witnesses claimed 3 BEDC workers arrived at the scene of the incident in a Hilux van with two other members of staff of the company at about 8pm,to effect repairs on the high tension line.''We were wondering why they were working at that time.A few minutes after,we saw light sparking at the top of the pole where the man was working.Suddenly,the man was electrocuted and hung on the pole for a while,but he later fell downHis hands were burnt and smoke was coming out from his nose and ear.Eventually his head burst.His two colleagues with him,ran away''.
