 Panic as Oyo demolishes shop in popular Ibadan market Panic gripped residents and traders of the popular Ojoo market in the Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State as the government demolished scores of shops and kiosks in the area, on Thursday. The PUNCH gathered that the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development had served the traders quit notice a long time ago but they refused to move out of the market. The Chairman of the market,  Muhdeen Ganiyu, fondly called Elewedu, however, told our correspondent that the quit notice was too short but the executive members of all the affected markers would meet after the demolition exercise. “The quit notice was too short. All executive members of all the affected markers will soon meet. So, I cannot say anything for now,” he stated.                Lupita Nyong'o,wore a white pearl gown designed by Calvin Klein collection by Francisco Cota,last week sunday at the OSCARS,and the gown was stolen from her hotel room earlier this week,but the dress has resurfaced again.According to Los Angeles Sheriff's spokeswoman,Nicole Nishida said that ''The dress was found on yesterday friday afternoon at a west Hollywood Hotel,greatly resembles the pearl adorned Calvin Klein collection by Francisco Costa dress,Nyong'o wore to sundat's Academy Awards.Detectives are attempting to verify the recovered dress,is the same one Nyong'o wore.The dress was found in an abandoned bathroom at the London Hotel''.Thank God ohhh.More photos below.                       Lupita's dress was found stashed in a bathroom at The London hotel in West Hollywood.  Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
