 EFCC Arrests Five Suspected Forex Speculators in Aba Operatives of the Uyo Zonal Command of the  Economic and Financial Crime Commission EFCC, on Friday, May 17, 2024,  arrested five suspected forex speculators at the Ama-Hausa mosque, along Hospital Road, Aba in Abia State. The arrested suspects are:  Hassan Umaru; Haruna Umar Badamasi Abdullahi, Auwal Muhammed  and   Kasimu Muhammed.     The suspects were in possession of different currencies in varied sums at the point of arrest. The recovered currencies are: 23,000 Won (Korean currency), 52 (Yuan Chinese currency),  $6, 500 Nippon Ginko, 40 notes of Dalawampung piso( Philippines Currency) 20 Gambian Dalasis, 20 Swaziland currency and N382,000 (Three Hundred and Eighty-Two Thousand Naira only). Other recovered items  from them are,  seven mobile phones, one power bank, one air pod, and one ATM card.                        Nkiruka Ferdinard Mbah,popularly known as One-Nikky,opened up about her life to me when she came visiting my office,her likes and dislike.One-Nikky was born in Amuzi Mbaise Imo state.She is the 6th child out of 8 children but both of her parents are  late.She studied Philosophy in the University of Lagos {UNILAG}from 2004-2007.She is happily married to Dr Ferdinard Mbah,with two children,between the ages of 5-7 years.She started writing music professionally i 2011,and she started producing her songs in 2014,with a album of 13 tracks,titled ''On Heavens Wings'',which will be launched in the market these year 2015.she has performed in shows in churches,weddings and child dedication but now,One-Nikky is ready to tour the world with her songs.One-Nikky said she is very transparent and she does not like living a fake or even relate with fake people.''I am very open but when i see that you are fake after you finish posing for me,i will cut you off.I will like to collaborate with and i admire the most are Pink Republic,Onyeka Onwenu,Psquare,Sunny Nneji,Celine Dion,late Michael Jackson,Diana Ross,Whitney Houston,Handel Messiah,Mozart,Andrea Bucheli.Upcoming musicians should have patients,rely on their hard work or makeup their minds on time,to know what they want to do with their life''.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her. Namtira said if the school authorities fail to sanction the student bullies within 48 hours of the receipt of the letter, she would seek immediate and severe legal redress against the school.
