 Nigerian man takes up the challenge to be bur!ed alive for 24hours A Nigerian man who identifies as Young C has embarked on a challenge to be buried alive in a coffin for 24 hours.  He made this known in a series of posts on his Instagram page on Wednesday,  stating that the stunt was genuine and not a hoax.  He announced his intention to broadcast live footage from the coffin at night. Sharing a video on his Instagram account on Wednesday, he said, "I am going to be spending the next 24 hours buried in this casket. Guys, this is real, not fake.  "And the most amazing part is that I am going to go live by night." In a subsequent update, Young C revealed that he had been buried for over 8 hours and was experiencing physical discomfort, including excessive sweating. In an update on Wednesday evening, he said in part, "Guys, I have been buried alive for over 8 hours now. For those of you who saw my first video, I have been down here. •Mercy John                                                                According to sources,Mercy John who was an officer attached to Provost Office State Police Command Headquarters,Ikeja Lagos,was accosted by armed robbers at about 6pm,yesterday tuesday,10 February around Egbeda Shasha area of Lagos state and she was ordered to lie down.According to a statement by DSP Ken Nwosu,the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer,said ''Mercy John and one other person were accosted by two armed robbers on motor bike and ordered to lie down.The NCO {Non Commissioned Officer Mercy John}refused to comply and also turned down the order to hand over her handbag.However,her companion out of fear complies.One of the men who accosted them brought out a locally made pistol,then Mercy John immediately on sighting the firearm,smartly and professionally grabbed the neck of the gun wielding hoodlum and hit his head on a nearby wall.The firearm fell down and she immediately grabbed it and the hoodlums sensing imminent danger,fled for their lives.The fleeing robbers are being trailed by the police,the female officer has since been approved for the commendation of the Commissioner of Police,as well as the IGP's commendation.The Commissioner of Police wishes to congratulate the NCO {Mercy John} for this uncommon act of bravery and urges her to keep it up''.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
