NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. On the 9th of February 2015 in a city in South Korea,an Emergency respond were called in to rescue a woman whose robot vacuum cleaner latched onto her hair while she was taking a nap.The Changwon city fire department said workers responded to the 52 year old woman's home in Changwon after the robot vacuum cleaner latched into her hair while she was sleeping on the floor.The emergency responders were able to open the vacuum and free the woman after about 30 minutes.A fire department representative said ''This case was quite special,we had seen weird things,but this was a very weird call that we received.The woman lost about 10 strands of hair but was otherwise unharmed.The device appears to be similar to the Roomba,a circular robotic vacuum cleaner''.
