The Government categorically refutes claims of lopsidedness and emphasizes its unwavering commitment to the principles of fairness, equity, and national unity. All appointments are made in strict adherence to federal character principle, as enshrined in Section 14 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as Altered). 3 BOMB EXPLOSION TODAY,KILLED ATLEAST 47 PEOPLE IN MAIDUGURI

                           According to sources,today saturday the 7th of March 2015,three bomb exploded in Maduguri city,killing at least 47 people,including children,and 50 wounded people.Sources who were at the scene of the explosion confirmed the figures of the dead and wounded,when they said ''The death toll has risen to 47,with at least 50 others injured.The dead included women and children''.The bombing here and there by the Boko Haram group,is becoming too much,and i am wondering when it will stop?.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
