 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. A GROUP LAUNCHED A PETITION TO PRESIDENT OBAMA,TO CHANGE THE FACE OF THE $20 BILL FROM A MAN TO A WOMAN'S FACE.

                                 An organization called ''Women on 20s'' has launched a campaign to petition President Barack Obama to sign an executive order to replace Andrew Jackson with one of the 15 women who change the course of the United States history.It is hoped the historic change would be made in time for the new bill to be issued in 2020,the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment giving women the right to vote.The act was ratified on August 18,1920,47 years after it was first introduced to Congress by California Senator Aaron A.Sargent.The organizers say the change would go along way in promoting the bed rock principal of our democracy,that all people are created equal.The group said ''We believe this simple,symbolic and long over due change could be an important stepping stone for other initiatives promoting gender equality''.One more picture below.
