 Walton, Kentucky- 2 elderly women lose their lives and another individual is critically injured in a crash that caused a dump truck to crash through restaurant.  While diners were enjoying a meal at Boondocks Pub on Tuesday, April 8th, a tragic incident occurred shattering the peaceful scene. At around 4:30 p.m. an SUV pulled out in front of a fully loaded dump truck. The driver of the dump truck attempted to brake and steer clear of the SUV but they were not able to avoid a collision. The SUV was struck by the dump truck and the impact caused the SUV to cross the southbound lane where it struck a guardrail and flipped before coming to rest on its top. Sadly the crash took the lives of 91-year-old Eva Mulberry and 89-year-old Betty Holland. A 66-year-old woman who was in the SUV was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition. A GROUP LAUNCHED A PETITION TO PRESIDENT OBAMA,TO CHANGE THE FACE OF THE $20 BILL FROM A MAN TO A WOMAN'S FACE.

                                 An organization called ''Women on 20s'' has launched a campaign to petition President Barack Obama to sign an executive order to replace Andrew Jackson with one of the 15 women who change the course of the United States history.It is hoped the historic change would be made in time for the new bill to be issued in 2020,the 100th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment giving women the right to vote.The act was ratified on August 18,1920,47 years after it was first introduced to Congress by California Senator Aaron A.Sargent.The organizers say the change would go along way in promoting the bed rock principal of our democracy,that all people are created equal.The group said ''We believe this simple,symbolic and long over due change could be an important stepping stone for other initiatives promoting gender equality''.One more picture below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
