 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. ANOTHER BABYSITTER,WAS CAUGHT IN THE ACT OF ABUSING A TWO YEAR OLD CHILD IN ARGENTINA.

                            According to the footage,which was posted on the internet,a 25 year old babysitter in Argentins Eve Mantara is facing child abuse charges after she was secretly filmed hitting a baby and then stealing his food by force.The babysitter and the two year old baby,was seen sitting on the dinning table when the babysitter takes a plate of food that is meant for him and sits to eat it in front of the hungry boy.The mother of the two year old boy Cristina Ceril had installed the secret camera in the family home in the city of Parana in north east of Argentina and linked it to her smart phone.The idea of installing a secret came,after she discovered a series of bruises on her sons body.Her neighbours had also warned her that her son and her 10 year child were often heard screaming and were seen in tears on days when they were left alone with the nanny.The police and prosecutors said the video footage will be used as evidence as the 25 year old babysitter,faces criminal assault and child abuse charges.More photos below.                                                      She then starts to hit the boy as he sits in his high chair at the table in the family home in Argentina The secret footage shows the two-year-old boy begin to cower as nanny Eve Mantaras approaches him As well as hitting the boy, the nanny also stole his food, despite the toddler being hungry and sat down and ate it in front of him The toddler's mother Cristina Ceril installed the secret camera linked to her smartphone after discovering bruises on her son's body

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
