World’s Youngest Reigning Monarch , King Oyo, Dies at 34 King Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi IV, the traditional ruler of Uganda’s Tooro Kingdom who became the world’s youngest reigning monarch after ascending the throne at three, has died at the age of 34. The monarch reportedly died on Thursday, with the Prime Minister of the Tooro Kingdom, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire Akiiki, announcing his death on Friday. The cause of death was not immediately disclosed. However, Ugandan media reports quoted a government minister as saying that King Oyo had been critically ill and was receiving medical treatment in the United States. Reacting to the development, Akiiki described the monarch’s death as a major loss to the royal family and the people of Tooro. He urged members of the kingdom to remain united and calm while mourning the traditional ruler. The Nigerian Police today confirmed that there was a bomb blast in Enugu state today,through a post on their official website that's says ''The Enugu state Command of the Nigeria Police Force through its operatives working in partnership with other sister security agencies in the state on 28/03/15 averted what would have caused a serious damage and loss of live at a polling station identified as WTC polling station having three polling units located in Ogui in Enugu state.Heavy presence of security operatives at the venue,prevented Honda Accord car black in colour with registration number KUJ971 LB driven by yet to be identified persons loaded with some suspected improvise explosive deviced IED from reaching its target but exploded shattering the said vehicle on the road behind the polling station.Police Explosive Unit promptly intervened detonating remainders of the IEDs and also making the entire location safe.Meanwhile,the polling station near the scene is experiencing heavy turn out of voters who want to elect their leaders and there is also heavy presence of security men as the commissioner of Police Cp Dan Bature and other heads of sister securuty agencies were also at the scene to assure voters and members of the public about the readiness of the security agencies.Investigation into the incident has commenced''.
