Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court.               According to sources,the counsel to Ex-Governor of Lagos state Bola Tinubu,Mr Tunji Abayomi said,a letter asking Daar Communications to appologise for the content and to stop the further airing of false allegation against him was delivered this afternoon,2nd of March 2015.The Part A of the letter reads ''You aired an hour long documentary forcussing on our client {Bola Tinubu}.Cleraly pre-occupied with political resentment and hatred neither warranted,necessary,proper,or justified.You published several false allegations against our client.More disturbing is your misrepresentation that said,the documentary was ''sponsored'',without disclosing the ''sponsors''.You cannot under law,hide under media freedom to maliciously injure a citizen's reputation''.The letter also demanded for N20billion {Twenty Billion Naira} as cost of damage done to the reputation of his client.Failing to comply,his client will sue the company.Read the letters below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
