 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service. 90 INJURED,1 DEAD IN SOUTH AFRICA TRAIN CRASH TODAY.

                    According to sources,today tuesday morning,a female security guard was killed when two trains collided in Johannesburg.Apart from the security guard that died,atleast  90 other people were injured,when a Metro train and a Business Express train collided at the Denver train station at about 7am.The female security guard is in her 30's and her job was to signal the trains,and she was behind the Metro plus train when she was hit by the Business Express metro rail.Atleast two of the cars from the Metro plus train were derailed.One landed on the platform,its entire front crushed,while the other went into a building crushing some of the passengers.One of the train's driver was airlifted to hospital.One more photo below.
