 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. INEC COMMISSIONER IN KANO STATE,AND HIS FAMILY,DIED IN A FIRE YESTERDAY THURSDAY.

                 According to sources,the commissioner of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC in Kano state Alhaji Abudullah Minkaila died along with his wife and two daughters at a Kano hospital after suffering severe burns from a mysterious fire that gutted his residence at the farm centre axis,within Kano metropolis yesterday thursday night.Kano Police Commands Public Relations Officer ASP Magaji Musa Majia said ''It is really very tragic and the cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.They were suffocated to death {Mr Abdullahi,his wife and his two daughter}.No one can tell for now what really happened,but we have launched full investigation into the matter.A i am speaking with you,i am right here in the hospital with the Commissioner of Police,and we will keep you informed as we begin to unravel the mystery behind this tragic accident''.
