 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. OBANIKORO SUMMONED SOUTH AFRICAN HIGH COMMISSIONER,OVER THE XENOPHOBIC ATTACKS ON NIGERIAN CITIZENS.

               Foreign minister Musiliu Obanikoro summoned South African High Commissioner Lulu Mnguni to register Nigeria's protest over the on going Xenophobic attacks against fellow African's in South Africa.In the meeting,Ambassador Obanikoro condemned the attacks on foreigners in South Africa,expressing concern on the fate of Nigerians and indeed of other nationals who are migrants in the country.Koro said ''South Africa needed to take concrete steps to quell the unrest and bring the culprits involved to book,to act as a deterrent and prevent further violence''.He also called on the South African authorities to compensate the victims of these attacks.Soldiers were deployed over night to tackle gangs hunting down and killing foreigners after at least seven people died in violence in the last few weeks.If you ask me,it is a shameful act that Africans are killing themselves.The South Africans should also realize that their citizens are also dominating other countries like e.g Nigeria.More photos below.
