 ‘I’ll turn off the mic’ — Remi Tinubu reins in Adeleke’s singing at Ooni’s anniversary First Lady Oluremi Tinubu cautioned Ademola Adeleke, the Osun state governor, for prolonged singing during his remarks at the 10th coronation anniversary celebration of Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife. The moment, captured in a now-viral video, occurred as the governor mounted the podium on Sunday to pay tribute to the monarch and to congratulate the Remi on her newly bestowed chieftaincy title, Yeye Asiwaju Gbogbo Ile Oodua. Rather than proceed immediately with his formal message, Adeleke, popularly known as the “Dancing Governor” for his spirited public appearances, burst into a short musical chant, drawing laughter from parts of the audience. 2 DEAD TODAY,IN BURUNDI PROTEST AGAINST THEIR PRESIDENT'S THIRD TERM BID.

                  According to sources,today monday morning,two people have been killed in new protests in Burundi against their president's re-election bid.The protests started peacefully but got out of hand when protesters started attacking police with stones.The protesters are protesting over President Pierre Nkurunziza's bid for a third term.The protests resumed in Burundi's capital today monday after a weekend pause as thousands continued to protest the president's decision to seek a third term.It is the biggest unrest Burundi has seen since a civil war ended in 2005.The protesters want to force president Pierre Nkurunzinza to withdraw his bid for a third term,which may be seen as a violation of the Arusha Agreement that ended a civil war which left more than 250,000 people dead.One more photo below.
