 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. 2 DEAD TODAY,IN BURUNDI PROTEST AGAINST THEIR PRESIDENT'S THIRD TERM BID.

                  According to sources,today monday morning,two people have been killed in new protests in Burundi against their president's re-election bid.The protests started peacefully but got out of hand when protesters started attacking police with stones.The protesters are protesting over President Pierre Nkurunziza's bid for a third term.The protests resumed in Burundi's capital today monday after a weekend pause as thousands continued to protest the president's decision to seek a third term.It is the biggest unrest Burundi has seen since a civil war ended in 2005.The protesters want to force president Pierre Nkurunzinza to withdraw his bid for a third term,which may be seen as a violation of the Arusha Agreement that ended a civil war which left more than 250,000 people dead.One more photo below.
