 PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY   President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday.    A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria.   Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. 26 PEOPLE CONFIRMED DEAD AFTER A SUICIDE BOMBER,DETONATED ON SATURDAY IN A MOSQUE IN MAIDUGURI.

                         26 people were killed yesterday saturday after a suspected suicide bomber detonated his Improvised Explosive Device {IED} in a Mosque near the Monday market in Maiduguri.Mr Aderemi Opadokun,the Born Commissioner of Police,confirmed the blast by saying ''A suicide bomber strapped with IED exploded himself in Alhaji Haruna Mosque at Galadima Kyari drive Ali Kotoko road near the Monday market.The incident happened around 3:30pm while Asar prayer was being offered at the Mosque.Twenty six people were confirmed dead while 28 were injured''.
