 South Korean police seek arrest warrant for Hybe chairman Bang Si-Hyuk over alleged $100 million investor fraud scheme    South Korean police are seeking an arrest warrant for Bang Si-Hyuk, the billionaire music executive behind K-pop powerhouse Hybe and BTS, as part of an expanding investigation into allegations that he improperly benefited from an investor scheme involving more than $100 million. Authorities said they have asked prosecutors to pursue a court warrant for Bang’s arrest as they continue probing claims that he misled investors in 2019. Investigators allege he told investors that Hybe had no plans for an initial public offering, leading them to sell shares to a private equity fund. The company later went public, and police suspect a separate arrangement may have resulted in Bang receiving a substantial payout tied to post-IPO stock profits. A MURDER CHARGE AGAINST A 14 YEAR OLD GIRL,WHO POISONED HER 35 YEAR OLD HUSBAND LAST YEAR,HAS BEEN DROPPED.

nigeria child bride                    Prosecutors in Nigeria have dropped a murder charge against a 15 year old who was accused of poisoning a 35 year old man she had been married to.The girl Wadila Tasi'u was faced with a case of culpable homicide.She was 14 years when she was married off to Umar Sani.Prosecutor Lamido Aba Soron Dinki asked the High Court in Gezawa,Kano state to ''Terminate the case of culpable homicideagainst Wasila Tadi'u.Whit a heavy heart,i apply that the accused be discharged''.However Judge Mohammed Yahaya who was preciding over the case,told the court he required either a written or oral,presentation from the office of Kano's Attorney General before formally dropping the charges and agreeing to Tasiu's release.He ordered that the presentation to be made on June 9 2015.In 2014,the girl admitted killing her husband by concealing rat poison in his food.Three other people also died and 10 were taken to the hospital apparently after eating the same food.The girls father had forced her to marry the 35 year old man.The murder charge dates back to April 5 2014,when her husband Sani hosted a small wedding celebration at his home in the small Kano village of Unguwar Yansoro.Prosecutors claimed that Tasi'u prepared the food and laced it with rat poison before serving it to her guests.Four people,including Sani her husband died within hours of eating the meal.Judicial sources said the Kano state government intended to offer financial compensation to the victims families.
