 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. ABOUT 19 PEOPLE,DIED TODAY AFTER A SUICIDE BOMBER DETONATED A BOMB IN A SHIA MOSQUE IN SAUDI ARABIA.

                   Interior Ministry spokesman in Saudi Arabia said today that ''It has been established that an individual detonated a bomb he was wearing under his cloths during friday prayers todayat Ali Ibn Abi Taleb Mosque in Kudeih in Qatif province.The attack is an act of terrorism.Security authorities will spare no effort in the pursuit of all those involved in this terrorist crime''.Though the death toll might rise from 19 to a higher number because the Mosque is filled up with 150 people.Pictures posted on social ,media purported to show the devastation with dead bodies,strewn across the floor and shattered glass covering the courtyard of the Mosque.No one has claimed responsibility for the bombing,the first to target the Shia community in Saudi Arabia since November when gunmen killed at least eight people in an attack on a religious anniversary celebration,also in the east.
