 PRESS RELEASE  FG Commends  Diaspora Healthcare Professionals' Medical Missions to Nigeria  The Federal Government has commended efforts by diaspora based Nigerian healthcare professionals to improve healthcare in Nigeria, emphasizing it's crucial support to enhance its sustainability. Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako Honourable Minister of State for Health & Social Welfare stated at the gala night of the just concluded Association of Nigerian Physicians in Americas (ANPA)  31st Annual Scientific Convention / 30 years anniversary celebration held at Eko Hotel, Victoria Island Lagos.                   According to sources who saw him at shoprite in Surulere area of Lagos state,begging passersby money.Ernest Asuzu who suffered from stroke sometimes ago wore a Manchester United Jersey,blue jean trouser and a bathroom slippers begging for money.According to a report from the Daily Independent,Ernest Asuzu was saying that ''I was in LASUTH for two months,three days and for that long,nobody from Nollywood ,not even Ibinabo Fieresima,visited me.And she heard that i was admitted there.My friends told her that i was down with stroke and she pretended as if she didn't hear.It's not fair.I'm a human being too.I am limping right now,because i have stroke.I am limping because the industry is already messedup.I don't know what Ibinabo is doing.Ibinabo is just gallivanting .She is having fun and that is not the reason we put her there.She should go out there and fight for our people''.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
