 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. AFTER FAILED COUP ATTEMPT,PRESIDENT OF BURUNDI NKURUNZIZA,ORDER'S COUP PLOTTERS TO BE ARRESTED.

                                      Today thursday,the Burundi president,President Pierre Nkurunziza ordered the arrest of the coup plotters as intensive gunfire and heavy explosions have been heard in the streets of Burundi's capital B ujumbura.Mean while the head of Burundi's army has said that an attempted coup had failed and forces loyal to president Pierre Nkurunziza were in control,a day after another General said he had sacked Nkurunziza for seeking an un constitutional third term in office.Army chief of staff General Prime Nyongabo in a statement broadcast in their country's radio said that ''The coup attempt failed,loyal forces are still controlling all strategic points''.President Pierre Nkurunziza's attempt to return to Burundi following reports of a coup yesterday wednesday evening failed.Nkurunziza has returned to Tanzania where he was attending a summit by East African Heads of State to solve the political crisis in his country.The coup was announced by Major General Godefroid Niyombare yesterday wednesday which set citizens into celebrations after several days of unrest.Burundi citizens are opposed to President Nkurunziza vying for a third term after he was nominated by his party.The outcome of the coup remains unclear while fighting rages on in Buyumbura.Heavy gunfirewas heard early today thursday morning near the radio and TV station in the capital Buyumbura.One more pictures below.
