 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

BOKO HARAM STRIKES AGAIN WITH SUICIDE BOMBERS IN MAIDUGURI YESTERDAY BUT NIGERIAN ARMY CLAIMED SANITY HAS BEEN RESTORED.

                    According to military sources,suspected Boko Haram militants attacked Nigeria northern city of Maiduguri in orno state yesterday wednesday from a cashew plantation a few kilometers from the Giwa barracks.Residents said they heard hearvy shooting and explosions on the outskirts and began fleeing their homes.The fighting began around 6:45pm before subsiding by around 9:00pm.Maiduguri has not been attacked since two major takeover attempts in late January and early February and several bombings in March.A security source who participated in the operation,said they fought off several hundreds insurgents which included suicide bombers.''Sme civilian youth vigilante who went to battle may have lost their lives''.The military source further said that ''Were they were trying to evacuate some women from a community behind the Giwa barracks when a bomb exploded from a woman suspected to be a suicide bomber''.The Director Defence Information,Major General Chris Olukolade who confirmed the incident,said ''The attack was apparently diversionary with the intention of slowing down the ongoing assault on Sambisa forest.He noted that the attack is believed to have been carried out by those escaping from the terrorists location that have been routed or destroyed ,but normalcy has been restored as the troops conduct mopping up of the area while the offensive on all terrorists forest locations continue''.One more picture below.                            Maj. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
