 STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY   With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi.   As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child.   I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them.   Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour.   My prayers are with the family.   Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Federal Republic of Nigeria January 8, 2026

Out of this world: Lady Gaga looked like a sci-fi alien in this Instagram she posted on Thursday showing her in a face mask with her hair covered in  copper coloured plastic as she flashed her heart-shaped engagement ring                      Today thursday,Lady Gaga shared three instagram pictures as she enjoy's being pampered by her glam team.The first picture showed her in a peel on/peel off face mask with holes cut for her nose and mouth,and a large pair of white sunglasses and her hair covered in bronze plastic wrap.She was busy flashing her heart shaped diamond ring her fiancee gave to her on valentines day.The second picture,her face was makeup free and she held her hair back with her hand.The third picture,she was wearing an over blown lip jelly mask,which she said it is ''Good for hydration and plumping with no silly bruising''.More photos below.      Getting ready: The 29-year-old explained, 'Loosening the color, keeping the hair healthy and strong. Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
