COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action. Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice. The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. Today monday,a High court Judge identified as Mr Justice Samuel Obayomi,was kidnapped today and his orderly Cpl Usman Musa,was shut dead today early morning attack.He was kidnapped on his way to work.His driver Mr Ajayi Kolawole,told newsmen in Lokoja that the incident took place infront of the Executive guest villa at Okene GRA in the in the Okene Local Government Area of the state.Kolawole said that the judge's orderly Musa was shot dead on the spot by the kidnappers in an operation that took place between 8:40am ad 45am.He described the three gunmen as heavily armed,unmasked and wearing dark glasses.The driver said the gunmen ordered the judge and his aides to lie facedown.Kolawole said that the kidnappers opened fire on the orderly killing him on the spot.The police Area Commander at Okene,mr Kehinde Kolawole,said the driver had been detained to help in police investigations.
