 Legendary actor Manoj Kumar dies at 87: ‘Roti Kapada Aur Makaan’ director breathes his last in Mumbai Manoj Kumar, the Bollywood actor and filmmaker, renowned for his patriotic films, passed away at the age of 87 at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital. The cause of his death was identified as cardiogenic shock due to acute myocardial infarction, according to medical reports. The medical reports confirmed that apart from a severe heart attack that took away his life, Manoj had been battling decompensated liver cirrhosis for the past few months, ANI reported. Following deteriorating health condition, he was admitted to the hospital on February 21, 2025. Popularly known as ‘Bharat Kumar,’ Manoj Kumar was an exceptional director and actor who was honoured with National Film Award. IN A RECENT STATEMENT,AREWA CONSULTATIVE FORUM,ACCUSED JONATHAN OF PLOTTING TO HINDER BUHARI'S TENURE.

                   The Arewa Cosultative Forum ACF,accused President Goodluck Jonathan of deliberate plot to hinder the smooth take off of Muhammadu Buhari's tenure.The statement is signed by the ACF National Publicity Secretary,Muhammad Ibrahim,noted that the nationwide fuel scarcity had virtually crippled the economy and put untold hardship on Nigerians.Part of the statement reads ''This has seriously affected power generation and distribution,transportation system,telecommunications,banking,water supply and other sectors of the economy.All these unwarranted hardships including the persistent insecurity and many others which the outgoing regime will bequeath to Gen Buhari appear to be deliberate and calculated to hinder the smooth takeoff of the new administration.The recent revelation by the Finance Minister,Dr Ngozi Okonjo Iweala that despite about N61.7billion about N12.3 trillion} earned from oil and other sources in the four years of president Jonathan,the Federal Government has been borrowing to pay salaries and allowances thereby incuring heavy debt for the incoming administration''.
