  Oshiomhole Convinced Us To Make Obaseki Governor – Philip Shaibu Philip Shaibu, the former Deputy Governor of Edo State, has disclosed that his choice to support his former boss, Godwin Obaseki, stemmed from his respect for Adams Oshiomhole, the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to Naija News, Shaibu shared his doubts about Obaseki during an interview on Channels Television’s Political Paradigm program on Tuesday. Shaibu admitted that he lacked confidence in Obaseki's leadership even before they took office on November 12, 2016. He explained that despite his initial hesitations, he ultimately backed Obaseki out of respect and based on the assurances provided by Oshiomhole. He stated, “Obaseki is not a politician. We made him governor because Oshiomhole persuaded us.                            Kim Kardashian the wife of Kanye West posted some pictures of Kanye West receiving a certificate from the V.C of the institute of Art Chicago,though i heard Kanye West started attending the Chicago State University for one semester,but he dropped out to pursue music full time.The ceremony took place earlier these week {monday} and i heard that Kanye West gave a very memorable speech and Kim Kardashian was on a 24 hours visit to Brazil when she sent in the pictures with the caption ''Dr Kanye West !!!!!!!! i'm so proud of you baby and i know your mom would be so proud too!!!!!!!''.Apart from Kanye West pictures,Kim also posted pictures from her launch of her new collection in Brazil C&A.She also shared the fact that in her hotel room in Brazil Kanye sent in dozens of white roses.She said ''I got to my room in Brazil and my amazing thoughtful husband had the sweetest note with a couple thousand roses covering my entire suite for mothers Day.I'm so sad i'm so far away on this day but happy we  celebrated yesterday.I love you baby & North soooo much !!!.So i get to a restaurant in Sao Paulo & my husband had an orchestra waiting playing Sam Smith!!!.Every single waiter who brought food said ''This is from Mr West for the best mother in the world''.Seriously i have the best husband ever!!!''.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
