NAF INTENSIFIES AIRPOWER CAMPAIGN, STRENGTHENS AIR PRESENCE IN SOKOTO TO DENY TERRORISTS FREEDOM OF ACTION The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has intensified its airpower campaign against terrorism, banditry, kidnapping and other criminal activities across the North-West, with a strengthened air presence in Sokoto State to support ongoing joint security operations. The initiative reflects the Service’s determination to sustain pressure on hostile elements, enhance aerial surveillance and maintain the capacity for rapid response to emerging threats, while providing effective air support to ground forces operating within the Joint Operations Area. The strengthened air presence is particularly significant in the fight against asymmetric threats, where terrorists and bandits exploit difficult terrain, mobility and concealment to evade ground forces. Congrats to the three fans of ex-president Goodluck Jonathan ,who trekked to Otuoeke Bayelsa state yesterday just to shake hands and welcome the ex-president.I must say,that was courageous of them as they started trekking from Lagos to Bayelsa state,few days after ex-president Goodluck Jonathan lost to President Buhari.The three trekkers are identified as Oladele John Nihi,Gloria and Ify.After the handover at Eagle Square yesterday,ex-president Goodluck Jonathan,traveled to his home town,and their was a large crowed that was waiting to greet him,including the three trekkers.A journey of a thousand miles starts with just one footstep,that is all i have to say.More photos below.
