Nedra Talley Ross, last surviving member of The Ronettes, dies at 80 Nedra Talley Ross, the last surviving member of the iconic 1960s girl group The Ronettes, has died at the age of 80. Her daughter, Nedra K. Ross, said the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee died Sunday morning at her home, surrounded by family. In a social media post, she wrote that her mother “went home to be with the Lord” at about 8:30 a.m., noting she was “safe in her own bed at home with her family close, knowing she was loved.” Ross performed alongside her cousins Estelle Bennett and Ronnie Spector in The Ronettes, which rose to fame in the early 1960s after signing with producer Phil Spector. The group became known for defining hits such as “Be My Baby” and “Baby I Love You,” helping shape the sound and style of the era’s girl-group pop. The Ronettes achieved international success, including popularity in the United Kingdom, and famously opened for The Beatles during their final U.S. tour in 1966. Decades late...

                                                         Today around 8:34am today morning,the Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a baby girl.The royal house hold communicated with the public through their official social medias writing ''Her Royal Higness the Duchess of Cambridge was safely delivered of a daughter at 8:34am.The baby weighs 8lbs 3oz.The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth,the Queen,the Duke of Edinburgh,the Prince of Wales and the Duches of Cornwall,Prince Harry and members of both families have been informed and are delighted with the news.Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well''.The Royal Navy posted this celebratory picture by the crew of HMS Lancaster.The BT Tower in London welcomed the news with the sigh ''It's a girl''.Prince George offered a shy wave as he arrived at the Lindo wing with his father Prince William after the birth of his little sister this morning.The Tower Bridge of London glows Pink to mark arrival of the Princess.I knew Kate's baby will be a girl when she wore a pink coat to a royal event about a weak ago or two weeks ago.So the next time she is pregnant,watchout for her coat colours for any last royal appearance before her due date.More photos below.
