 GOVERNOR ABBA  YUSUF SACKS  KANO STATE HEAD OF SERVICE   The Executive Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has relieved the State Head of Service, Abdullahi Musa, of his appointment with immediate effect. In a statement  by the Director General, Media and Publicity to the Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa, the decision is part of the ongoing efforts by the present administration to reposition the state civil service for greater efficiency, discipline, and improved service delivery across all government institutions. Governor Yusuf expressed appreciation to the outgoing Head of Service for his contributions and dedication to the service of the State  The statement further directed that Bilkisu Shehu Maimota, the Permanent Secretary, Admin and General Services at the Cabinet Office, to serve in an  acting capacity pending the appointment of a substantive Head of Service.                        Today sunday,Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit,Omole Phase 1 Ikeja Lagos,celebrated their Feast of Penticost with music performance from Gospel musician Mrs Nkiruka Mbah,Drama by their youth group in the church called C.Y.O.N.After 9:am mass,the reception moved from the main church,to the church hall,where all the activities that have been practiced for over few weeks back was show cased.Each society in the church had their own stand in which food was given out to parishtioners who wished to stay behind for the after party.More photos below.
