TODAY IS WORKERS DAY,BUT 85% OF NIGERIAN YOUTHS ARE JOBLESS,85% OF PENSIONERS NOT PAID.

Today May 1st,the world celebrates workers day or Labour day but the big question is these, how do the government treat these workers after they have retired?.It has come to my notice that most of the Lagos state staffs especially those in the education sector have not been paid their pension since two ago they retired.Don't the government think these retirees have family to feed?,or are they expecting the retirees to die off and forget their entitlement?.Is not enough to have a match past today in a big stadium or declare public holiday to mark today, but to address the issues surrounding the pension scheme in Nigeria for retirees, the welfare of the old,the handicapped, and the sick. Most of the retirees are lucky to come from a wealthy background, what about those that don't have anybody to give to them, what will be their fate?.Now in Nigeria there is no job for old graduate talkless of new graduate and they said we should mark workers day when majority of the youths in Nigeria are jobless.I want to use these medium to appeal to the government,to pay retirees their pension and device a scheme that will make it easy for them to receive their pension, thanks and happy workers day.
