 COURT RESTRAINS RESIDENT DOCTORS FROM EMBARKING ON STRIKE  The national industrial court Abuja division has restrained all members and agents of the national association of resident doctors from calling, directing, organizing, participating in, and embarking upon any form of industrial action.  Justice Emmanuel Danjuma Subilim gave the order in an interim injunction filed by the federal government through the office of the attorney general of the federation and minister of justice.  The court temporally barred members of the association from embarking on any form of strike, work stoppages, go-slows, picketing, or any other form of industrial protest or disruption. The association is equally restrained from taking steps preparatory to any form of industrial action from the 12th day of january, 2026. WHEAT FARMERS IN KANO STATE,WANTS F.G TO BAN IMPORTATION OF WHEAT.

                          Today sunday,the Kano Chairman and Deputy National President of FAN,Mr Faruk Rabi'u,made the call to the Federal Government when he spoke to News Agency of NAN today sunday in an interview.He said ''The Federal Government can use less than one quater of the money to support wheat farmers and boost the production of the commodity in the country.The ban of the importation of wheat was necessary if the government was serious on tackling the unemployment challenges,especially among the rural dwellers in the country.Our major challenges are lack of combine harvesters and ready market.Once these problems are solved,we can feed West Africa countries with commodity.More inputs should be provided to our members to encourage them to go into wheat production''.
