 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. WHEAT FARMERS IN KANO STATE,WANTS F.G TO BAN IMPORTATION OF WHEAT.

                          Today sunday,the Kano Chairman and Deputy National President of FAN,Mr Faruk Rabi'u,made the call to the Federal Government when he spoke to News Agency of NAN today sunday in an interview.He said ''The Federal Government can use less than one quater of the money to support wheat farmers and boost the production of the commodity in the country.The ban of the importation of wheat was necessary if the government was serious on tackling the unemployment challenges,especially among the rural dwellers in the country.Our major challenges are lack of combine harvesters and ready market.Once these problems are solved,we can feed West Africa countries with commodity.More inputs should be provided to our members to encourage them to go into wheat production''.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
