Kaitlyn Rose Laura, 31, faces charges of injury to a child and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Officials said she deliberately misled medical staff about her 3-year-old son’s health to obtain a gastrostomy tube and later a gastrojejunostomy tube, despite no documented medical need. Investigators allege that hospital staff observed the boy eating normally while Laura claimed he refused all food. Covert surveillance confirmed the child was able to eat meals without difficulty, prompting authorities to stop tube feedings. The death toll from the wednesday petrol station explosion in Ghana's capital Accra has risen to at least 150.Ghana's president John Dramani Mahama has declared three days of mourning,as officials commence investigation on the cause of the massive tragedy.The blast occured as people sought shelter at Goil filling station,and nearby shops,to escape from the heavy down pour.It is a pity people so full of life,lost their life that way,but i keep getting the thought that someone among the crowd in the filling station must have been smoking just to keep warm,and that might have started the fire.That is my own theory and the police should not over look it.More photos below.
