 PRESS RELEASE MINISTER OF INFORMATION LEADS HEADS OF AGENCIES TO BROADCASTERS CONFERENCE IN LAS VEGAS In an effort to strengthen broadcast collaborations and form strategic alliances, Minister of Information and National Orientation Mohammed Idris fnipr, has led a delegation of heads of government agencies to the 2025 National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Conference and Workshop in Las Vegas, USA. The NAB event, running from April 5 to 9, carries the theme “The Technology, The Trend, The Future” and will cover a range of topics, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), cloud visualization, the creator economy, and sports production and streaming. 9 BLACK PEOPLE WERE KILLED YESTERDAY,INSIDE A HISTORIC BLACK CHURCH BY A WHITE MAN IN SOUTH CAROLINA.

               The man in the picture above,entered a black church yesterday wednesday night in Chaeleston in the united state,South Carolina,and killed 9 people.Eight of the victims were killed inside the Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal church,while another person died shortly afterwards.City police Gregory Mullen said via twitter that they are searching for a white male suspect in his 20s.The suspect was described as a 21 year old white man,wearing a sweatshirt,jeans and boots.''I do believe it was a hate crime.The suspect in shooting on Calhoun st is a W/M approx 21 slender small build,wearing  grey sweatshirt blue jeans timberland boots cleanshaven.It is unfortunate that somebody in today's society would walk into a church when people are having a prayer meeting and take their lives.The gunman is extremely dangerous''.A police helicopter has been circulating the area to track down the suspect at large as the manhunt continues.From the surveillance images of the suspect,the suspect sat in the church for an hour before opening fire and shouting ''You're taking over our country''.He reloaded his gun five times during the massacre inside the church,living 6 women and three men dead.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
