 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. A NIGERIAN CATHOLIC PRIEST EMMANUEL,WHO WAS KIDNAPPED EARLIER THESE MONTH IN EKITI,HAS BEEN FREED.

PRIEST-620x330                    Rev Father Emmanuel Akingbade,a parish priest of St Benedict of Ido-Ekiti,who was kidnapped from the parish house by three armed men on 8 June,is now free.The Bishop of Ekiti Diocese,Most Rev Felix Ajakaje,confirmed that father Akingbade has been released since June 16 after some negotiations.The kidnappers had asked for a large sum of money but the Bishop said he told them that the church was not a money making institution.He stressed that no ransom had been paid,but gave no further details.Bishop Ajakaje appealed that there should be recriminations or bad feelings against the kidnappers.''We want things to change for the better in our state'' he said.A thanksgiving mass was held these sunday for him at St Patrick Cathedral in Abujal.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
