  President Bola Tinubu has identified the creative economy as a pivotal element of his administration’s economic diversification agenda, reaffirming his commitment to positioning Nigeria’s creative sector as a driving force for global influence. The President stated this at the launch of the 2024 Abuja International Carnival at Eagle Square, Abuja. President Tinubu, represented by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, said the carnival reaffirms the essence of who Nigerians are—”a people of culture, a people of art, a people of colour, and a people of shared values”. A NURSE IS ACCUSING HER MEDICAL DIRECTOR IN LAGOS,AFTER SHE LOST HER VIRGINITY THROUGH RAPE BY ARMED ROBBERS.

             An 18 year old auxiliary nurse has accused the owner of a private hospital in negligence after robbers raided the hospital and four of the robbers raped her in turns.The robbers also carted away valuable belonging to patients on admission at the hospital in Lagos state.The incident happened at a private hospital in Egan Lagos state.The nurse {name withheld} alleged that the owner of the hospital did not provide security for his staff and thereby subjected her to mental torture after she was raped and she lost her virginity.She reported the incident to the police station at Igando Division and the Medical Director was arrested and later released on bail.The armed robbers stormed the hospital around 3am recently and scaled the fence before gaining entry into the premises.They over powered a 19 year old security guard from Niger Republic,tied him with a rope and locked him in a room before carrying out their operation.The staff on night duty were brutally attacked and wounded and when the robbers could not get enough money,they resorted to raping the teenage nurse in turns.The Medical Director of the hspital,Dr Adegbola Dominic confirmed the incident and said he could not be held liable for the rape of the nurse.
